Host an event

Is your group, club, or company holding a fundraiser and looking for a worthy organization to benefit with your proceeds? We will be honored to be a beneficiary of your event. Depending on the character of your event and your needs, we can:

  • give a presentation about our organization and how we benefit the community, which will give your guests an opportunity to find out more about the impact of their contributions
  • host a table and hand out information about our agency and our work building safer and healthier communities
  • serve as a fiscal agent (for larger community events - proceeds exceeding $5,000)

Some of the recent fundraisers benefiting Domestic Violence Resource Center:

  • Soroptimist International’s Annual Strawberry Shortcake Fundraiser (all New Seasons Market locations around the Portland metro area, Mother’s Day Weekend, May 2007) - raised $1,600
  • Hillsboro Rotary Foundation (Hillsboro, December 2007) - $7,114
  • Tektronix Holiday Helpers (Beaverton, December 2007) - $3,397
  • ISing Community Choir Winter Concert Series (Portland/Hillsboro, December 2007) - $3,000.68
  • Golden Girls Revue Show (Beaverton, September 2007) -  $500
  • Bethel Congregational United Church of Christ: Tret Fure Live in Concert (Beaverton, September 2007) -  $1,099
  • Summerfield Women’s Golf Club Tournament and Dinner (Tualatin, August 2007) - $7,200
  • Soroptimist International’s Annual Strawberry Shortcake Fundraiser (all New Seasons Market locations around the Portland metro area, May 2007) - $1,300
  • Tektronix Holiday Helpers (Beaverton, December 2006) - $4,756
  • Hillsboro Rotary Club’s Christmas Auction (Hillsboro, December 2006) - $5,632
